With two owners from new, this boat has seen relatively limited usage.
FarEast31R Addict was bought and imported to the UK from the original owner in Italy, in 2019. Since then the boat was properly looked after and brought back to a good racing condition, although the boat has now been put ashore and has been in storage for almost a year.
Originally the FAREAST 31R was conceived as a showcase for the relatively young Chinese boat building company, Fareast Boats FRP. Only three of these all-carbon race boats were built, to showcase the company's most advanced manufacturing processes and the results are an impressive high performance race boat offering plenty of horse-power and class winning performance.
The 31R had a simple design brief: to be the fastest possible monohull that can be shipped in a 40' shipping container. Simonis Voogd delivered just that and with a ballast ratio of 57% she is arguably the fastest production 31' sport boat in the world.
With a design date of 2013 and a 9.50m LOA the FarEast31R is right at the top end of the HP30 Class box rule.
