This striking FarEast 28R formerly called Assassin, from Dartmouth and now with the moniker Shanghai'd, is available to go anywhere.
Stored ashore, in Cowes, recently wrapped in black marine vinyl, she is in sparkling condition, reasonably priced and ready to race.
Sails
You will get some good racing out of the main suit of sails, you won’t need to buy a spinnaker for three seasons and there is a spare main and jib.
Racing main 6/10 – in good condition
J1 6/10
J2 8/10 – this is a slightly heavier sail and will last for several seasons
A1 8/10 – IRC optimised 83 m sq (in good condition) – this sail was designed specifically for IRC racing. It is a deep sail with broad shoulders so if you are transitional planing conditions (sub 12 knots), you can soak down low to the mark.
A5 8/10 (this a bullet proof) 65 m sq
Original A1 - used but with some life remaining
PLUS: Spare Main and J1 – for training or back up.
